Machine monitoring for Fanuc controls
Yes. Dextrolab reads Fanuc 0i and 30i-series controls over FOCAS, through the Ethernet port they have as standard. There is nothing to buy for the control.

| What it needs | Nothing: Ethernet and FOCAS are standard on these controls. Dextrolab speaks FOCAS itself, so no Fanuc library either. Source: Fanuc, 30i-B Plus Source: Fanuc 0i-F Plus catalogue, p. 11 |
| How it is set up | An address in your network for the control's Ethernet port, with our team on the install day. Source: deviceWISE guide (third party) |
| Older models | 16i, 18i, 21i and 0i-C reach the network through their embedded port where they have one, or Fanuc's Ethernet board. Without a network port: through our I/O module, coming next. |
What Dextrolab reads
FOCAS
Straight from the control.
- Running, stopped or waiting
- Mode: automatic or manual
- The program it runs
- Part count
- Alarms, with their text
- Emergency stop
On the control, in the Ethernet settings under the SYSTEM key, the embedded port gets an address in your network, and FOCAS answers on TCP port 8193 by default. Our team does this with you.
No. Fanuc sells it to software makers, but Dextrolab's edge device speaks FOCAS itself.
